Waipā Dental's story began with an unlikely but serendipitous meeting in the same dental practice.

A dentist from the United States, a dentist from Brazil, and an Oral Health Therapist (OHT) from New Zealand found themselves working together and quickly discovered how much they had in common, not just in their professional skills, but in their approach to patient care.

Each practitioner, with their unique cultural background and dental training, shared a deep commitment to providing quality care in a compassionate and personal way. They realised that despite their diverse experiences, their values aligned perfectly, and they had a shared vision of creating a dental practice that was welcoming, accessible, and centred around the patient's well-being. Inspired by their shared ethos and the positive dynamic they had created, the trio decided to combine their expertise and open Waipā Dental, a practice where diverse perspectives and a collaborative approach to care would shape every aspect of the business.
