Lincoln Miranda

Lincoln Miranda  grew up in Brazil, where he completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the prestigious Federal University of Minas Gerais in 2009. During his university years, he was actively involved in dental research, publishing internationally in the journal Oral Diseases.

After graduating, Lincoln began his career in the public health system, working as part of a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and physiotherapists. This early experience shaped his holistic approach to oral health and patient care. He went on to complete postgraduate training in Implant Dentistry, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry with specialisation in Endodontics (root canal treatments). Lincoln became a registered Endodontic Specialist in Brazil, developing extensive experience and a lasting passion for this field.

Lincoln moved to New Zealand in 2018 and has since worked in various locations, including Auckland, Whakatāne, and Dunedin. It was in the Waikato, and particularly in Cambridge, where he found his place. Since 2021, he has been living and practising in the region, building strong relationships with his patients, and becoming known for his gentle, reassuring manner and his focus on providing comfortable, high-quality care.

Today, Lincoln is registered in New Zealand as a General Dentist, with clinical interests that include Endodontics (root canal treatments), Cosmetic Dentistry (veneers, crowns, and tooth-coloured fillings), Restorative Dentistry, minor oral surgery, and clear aligner therapy. Trained in Digital Smile Design, he integrates modern digital technologies into his work to deliver precise, natural, and predictable results. He is also a member of the New Zealand Society of Endodontics, reflecting his dedication to excellence in this specialist field.

With more than 15 years of clinical experience and over a decade dedicated to root canal treatments, Lincoln is recognised for his detail-oriented approach and commitment to staying at the forefront of dental innovation.

Outside of the clinic, Lincoln enjoys spending time with his wife and their two young children, who were both born in New Zealand. Together, they love exploring the outdoors — whether hiking, enjoying the beach, or discovering the diverse natural beauty of Aotearoa.
